Sanyo Katana or Sanyo SCP-6600 is clamshell CDMA mobile phones that combine thin design as an “ultraslim” similar to Motorola Razr V3. The phone was released by Sanyo Electric Co. in the third quarter of 2006 which been available in the United States through Sprint, Qwest, Embarq, Liberty Wireless, and Humane Wireless. It was also released in Canada by Bell Mobility, Sasktel, and MTS.

The Katana phone has its latest features such as 2”.2’ Interior and 65k exterior LCD screen which been available in several colors (mystic black, blue sapphire, cherry blossom, and polar white) exclusively through Radio Shack. Other features of this phone were a VGA-quality digital camera, Bluetooth, and support pushing contacts with communication headset, and a unique call screening. That’s the latest innovation cellphone of the new Sanyo Katana.
