The Hero will also sport a new custom UI called the HTC Sense. The Sense will sport three features- Make it Mine, Stay Close and Discover the Unexpected. Breaking it down, Make it Mine means personal customisation. Stay Close equals social networks portals, and an easier way to manage your contacts, your emails, texts, etc. Lastly, the Discover the Unexpected means the Sense UI is tweaked with many user-friendly features. Additionally, the Hero will come with Google Android 1.5 (Cupcake).
The Hero sports all the connectivity options you’ll need, quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, Bluetooth 2.0, and of course Wi-Fi. There’s also 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus.
The Hero runs on the familiar Qualcomm’s MSM7200A chipset, with a 528MHz CPU, 288MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.
The Hero will be available from mid-September 2009 at RM 2,399.
